Running U Livestock, Inc, is a second generation, family owned and operated working horse and cattle ranch, located in beautiful western Utah. Running U Livestock was founded by Terry & Elaine George, and is now being operated by them, their daughter and son-in-law, Shamus & Jolyn Haws. Shamus & Jolyn hope one day to be able to pass the business on to their 4 daughters and many more generations to come. Running U is always striving to produce top foundation-bred Quarter Horses with conformation, disposition and athletic ability to succeed as ranch and cow horses in and out of the arena. Our horses are raised on 30,000+ acres on the Oquirrh Mountain range. Running U currently runs approximately 250 head horses for breeding and ranch work, along with a herd of commercial cattle. Running U Livestock is one of the largest Quarter Horse breeders in the State of Utah. Our horses are the result of selective breeding to produce and raise exceptionally high quality, top performance, working ranch horses.
We have established one of the most reputable and sought after Production Horse Sales in the Intermountain West area. The last weekend of August every year we sell some of the most sought after horses in the area. 50- 60 horses sell each year nationwide.
We are very proud of the great foundation bloodlines that our horses have. Our goal is to raise some of the top Ranch and Cow horses in the industry!
